The best vegetarian laksa and tofu I’ve had in Australia! Delicious. From what I could see the rest of the food was amazing too. Their roti was nice and fresh.
A favourite pie shop in the Blue Mountains, and judging by all the dine-in customers, I’m not alone in thinking that. Although there were just as many tables of customers eating Malaysian food, pastries, and cakes as pies. We had the chunky beef, steak and tomato, chicken and mushroom, and a sausage roll. All were delicious.
Ordered a laska and nasi lemak, classic Malaysian dish – u cant imagine how badly these dish could be screwed up– laska was a brown spicy soup with shredded tuna coming from cans, pineapple chunks and lime slices in the soup!!! Nasi lemak comes with coconut chicken chunks in actual desiccated coconut and pickled veg in the peanut sauce!! Being a hardcore asian food fan i can guarantee u not only the chef cannot cook malaysian food he or she probably didnt live in malaysia or singapore ever to even have the thinnest idea of what these mundane dish should look like!!!!! And cash only!! I will spare everyone from other gruesome details.
Had a latte and a vegetarian green curry pie. Pie was good!!! Nice and creamy with lots of veggies. The coffee was nice. Would suggest this place for a snack if you don’t want to spend too much money. Lots of cafes to chose from on this strip. Doesn’t look so fancy but there were quite a few people dining in as they sell not only pastries but make asian food too.
I think it’s owned by a Malaysian couple. Cafe selling pastries and also Malaysian food. Had the asam laksa and curry noodles. Both were pretty good.
