I’ve only tried their takeaway lunch during the weekend and I really liked it! I’d recommend their lamb and goat curry, nice flavour and no gamey taste that you sometimes get with the lamb. Chicken biryani with raita was good too, I’ll definitely come back for more!
This place has been here for so long! The staff are friendly and the menu has all the classics. The Butter chicken is amazing and so is the cheese naan. Ive never eaten inside but when i order takeaway its always ready in 15 mins.
My second review of Hilltop. Friendliness and accommodating attitude was again on show this past Friday night. We stayed on a bit late and were the last customers. The owner/manager came over to us and had a quick chat and insisted that we were welcome to stay another 30 minutes.
Great friendly service. Even when they are busy they keep you updated with your meal- everything made to order. The banquets are great value. Dining area has a good presentation and always spotless.
Disappointing. Went there a few weeks ago with the family. Ordered butter chicken, dosa, seekh kebab and lamb biryani. Specifically requested all food be served / brought out at the same time.Dosa arrived first (20 mins later) followed by seekh kebab (10 mins later) and butter chicken and biryani (a further 15 mins later). Taste was very ordinary with the dosa being dry and seekh kebab portions too small. Got chicken biryani instead of lamb which appeared to be defrosted rather than freshly prepared.Service was worse with having to request cutlery and water a few times before anything was provided. Requested to speak to the chef / owner however he appeared too busy to care to come out!!!Food has been alright for takeaways in the past but extremely disappointed witht he dine in experience and would not use them for t/away either now.
Excellent and well priced this place is a little Indian gem, will be back.
Delicious food, I’ve never eaten in but it looks good. Service can be slow but it’s worth the wait.
