For a small beachside town, Crescent Head is punching above its weight in the bakery department. A multi-generation, family-run business, Barnett’s offers a massive selection of home-baked savouries and sweets. A must-try is the vanilla slice. The cherry custard twist and apple crumble bun are pretty sensational too and at $7.50 and $7, respectively, made for a lovely afternoon tea.
