Is it right to not display ANY pricing? Or is the surprise of an extremely big bill exciting? Then Fredos is your place! Seriously expensive for a very average feed.
I had the chunky pepper steak pie, sausage roll and an apple pie. The sausage roll was ordinary overall in both meat and pastry wise. The filling of the apple pie was a little bit dry and could have done with a bit more cinnamon and sauce. The pastry of the chunky pepper steak pie was above average but the filling could have had more chunks of steak – after all it is a chunky steak pie. Personally I would have liked a bit more pepper in it as well.
Had a pepper steak, lamb w mint and a sausage roll. The sausage roll was up there w one of the best I’ve had! Pies were really yummy too! Lamb w mint had a real mint jelly flavour which I haven’t eaten in like 20 years. Def worth a stop and only a few mins detour from the highway/freeway. Def better than most sydney pies that can cost twice the price.
