Cute place that sells junk (interesting stuff but might be a stretch to call them antiques) and has tables on the streetside patio that get a lot of sun. Its an out-of-the-way spot that seems to get a lot of local resident regulars. The coffee was strong but had a grainy unpleasant aftertaste and was pretty cold. On the good side, I had a brownie that was wonderfully rich and nutty, so all their cookies and ready-to-eat stuff is probably good but they do some meals as well. Note that closing time seems to be more like 2:30pm.
Terrible service and a care factor to boot describe this place in a nut shell. Despite having a quite decent retro style setting they don’t follow through with food or service. The food is pre made and basically reheated from what I could gather. Coffee a little better but not enough to get them over the line
It’s in an antique shop but serves coffees, cookies, muesli, croissants and Toasties. Not a huge range but convenient if that’s all you’re after. I got a coffee which was a smooth flavour. Service was fast, coffee was nice. I like the idea of a pay it forward jar on the desk, so I put some money in aroundtheclockfoodie.com
