  Expectations exceeded. Amazing coffee had here and the food blew me away. Serving up breakfast and lunch with all your favourites but done the Stable Talk way!! Try the burgers and corn fritters… EPIC

  This cute cafe name is a nod to its equine neighbours with Randwick Racecourse located just down the road. The theme is continued in the decor with saddles, pictures of horses and horseshoes throughout. The owners 20 plus years of hospitality experience shines through, with warm service and great food. Dining during that part of the day that bridges breakfast and lunch, we enjoyed pancakes, avocado on toast, seafood pasta and a burger from a menu that includes all the cafe favourites, plus some more unusual menu items such as Irish black and white pudding which were informed was added to the menu by customer request, and that whom now frequent the cafe to get their regular fix .

  LIFE IS SHORT, EAT DESSERT FIRST ..: if youre after a themed cafe, step inside @stable_talk how cool is the horse paintings inside?! in an area refreshing like Kensington, it was a break away from the city! the staff were so cheerful and thanks Gary for saving a window seat! life goals were achieved in this cafe from the perfect pour shot to the egg yolk porn capture .. berry pancakes: the moment I saw these babies come out I was so ecstatic over the beautiful strawberry rose the thick fluffy buttermilk pancakes were sandwiched with fresh berries between each layer!! . corn fritters: Ive had so many corn fritters at different cafes but honestly this is the best corn fritters Ive ever had. There was a generous side serving of smoked salmon (the other option is bacon) and I loved the egg yolk that oozed out as soon as I cut into it . Garys favourite: omg how good are the sweet caramelised onions and that tang from the bbq sauce in this burger! If youre hungry and want a satisfying savoury dish, go for this, as the crispy bacon, flames grilled wagyu beef pattie and tasty cheese made me devour the whole thing!   | Kensington | Stable Talk | Located not too far from Randwick race course, this cafe is gem, lots of delicious choices. The cafe has a stable/ horse theme which is already quite cute. Very popular with the locals as its quite busy. Gary and his staff were quite friendly and accomodating… Garys Favourite – Beautifully presented, tasty string fries and a burger loaded with juicy beef patty, caramalised onions and tangy tasting cheese. . Salmon, Egg and Corn Fritters – Has a generous serve of Smoked Salmon, sweet sauce on the side with nicely cooked Corn fritters. . Pancakes – Beautifully dished pancakes that are fluffy, soft and sweet with generous helping of ice cream, strawberries, blue berries and maple syrup. .. Mixed Berry Smoothie and green smoothie – yogurty, thickish, tasty and not too sweet!.Thanks Stable Talk for the delicious food!

  Great service and extensive menu- European and asian influence. We got the salmon corn fritters with eggs and the salmon eggs Benedict, absolutely delicious and great portion size. Staff are friendly and attentive and made sure our waters were always topped up.
