The beer garden at this pub is a nice spot for a casual lunch or dinner. The food is pub style and very good – we enjoyed our juicy wagyu burger and pork, beef, lamb lasagne. Our meals were well prepared, well priced and came out fairly quickly considering how busy and popular this place is.
Good pub atmosphere. Live music was great, staff were friendly & it is a great location. Very popular place over the weekend but imagine during the week it’s abit more chilled out.
A 3.1 Zomato average for this dig is pretty brutal I think. It’s not five-star fire by any stretch, but it’s certainly better than a shade over très. I’m going to go straight out and say the Jamaican-style chicken wings were the best I’ve ever had. With that flavoursome dry rub alone they would have been awarded the title, but the fresh lime just topped it all off spectacularly. The schnity was reliable if uninspired – too much crumb – but my friends are lightweights on the plates so I ended up with two bits of bird, which lifted my spirits once more. Definitely still worth a look even without the food. Outdoor beer garden, pool tables and a sweet punting lounge. But trust me when I say – you needs these wings in your life.
Great location and set up. We ate on NYE so very busy but we did not wait long for our meals. Good menu variety with standard pub fare plus pizzas and some gluten free options. Lots of choices in the desserts/cakes cabinets!
