This is a good option if you are staying at one of the resorts at Salt Beach and don’t want to drive. We came on a Monday night which was paella night and we both had the paella. The paella was surprisingly good with generous amounts of seafood (prawns, mussels and calamari) and it was very reasonably priced.
Sadly this was a waste of one of our nights in Kingscliff. The place is very much a pub and the accompanying pub style meals which isn’t a bad thing if the food is good. We ordered the fisherman basket and for $26 it was a pretty big disappointment. They also had a list of $10 happy hour cocktails yet when we ordered the ones on the list we were told they are actually $15. The atmosphere also wasn’t great, with a big private function going on so it was very busy and loud and not in a good way. There are so many better places to eat along the same stretch that we’re kicking ourselves for wasting one of our nights there.

It is what you would expect for a tourist destination – moderate-high prices, average food (feels mass produced) somewhat brusque customer service. However, the toddler and kids play area is awesome.
