i found a small cocoroach in my beef curry laksa half way through. im still disgusted just thinking about it. it was the worst food experience i ever had. never going there again.
Tofu laksa is just 4 tiny bits of tofu, Bok Choy and bean sprouts nothing else … No other vegetables or garnishes – chilli jam or dried onion
If u like cheap food quick service This is the place in one word YummmmmmmmI will eat there any time no need to book the food full of flyover
Tried Beef Rendang and popular roti prata from mamak and it was satisfying. Rendang beef was slow cooked and succulent. Roti prata was delicious. Def will hit this join whenever around. Go mamak
This is a mixed review for Mamak. We ordered nasi lemak with beef, beef rendang, nasi goreng with chicken (forgot the name) and flat noodles with prawn. The beef rendang was good while the rice in the lemak tasted heaps better. The beef literally melted in the mouth, it was so buttery soft. However the chicken in the goreng was chewy and tasted stale. Coming to the noodles, it was alright in taste but only had two pieces of shrimp.
GOOD CHAR KOAY TEOW but bad satay chicken// The satay chicken was so disappointing! It wasn’t nice at all! Their char koay teow i had previously is so much better than the chicken. Not really a fan of this mamak and probably will only come back for the noodles.
Located in UNSW, this is a very convenient location for any Uni student to enjoy a hearty lunch. The service is fast and the Malaysian flavours are on point. This one is the fried rice with egg, cucumber and fried chicken which is divine (number D2 I believe). It’s a great combo and good value for money which is important for any money-conscious Uni student. Their roti is top notch too so do try this out! medium.com
