Some ups and downs for the food. Venue was lovely and intimate, and the communal table is surprisingly nice to sit at. – duck dish 5/5 this was the standout for me, the meat was cooked perfectly and it was so flavoursome. Portion size was on the smaller side- ocean trout 2/5: the trout was not showcased properly, it was served with a lot of beetroot and cream cheese that just overpowered the fish and you couldn’t really taste it – buffalo mozzarella 5/5: delicious cheese and beans, which had currants for a bit of sweetness. Yum!- salmon fritters (special board) 3/5: had a great texture but needed way more sauce or maybe even a wedge of lemon to squeeze on top- squid (special board) 2/5: not a huge amount of flavour and quite thick, needed a sauce. It only came with lemon- Brussel sprouts 4/5 had a lovely smokey flavour and were melt in the mouth Dessert options did not look super enticing unfortunately so we did not order any. Overall, it was nice good with some standouts but not amazing. If you want a similar experience/price I think The Butler in Potts Point has better food.

Oh, this place has my entire heart. The place looks like paradise. The staff is extremely friendly. We didn’t have a reservation and we went there during the no food hours, so we weren’t sure if they’d still serve us. But they did and it was beautiful.Char-grilled chicken, smoked paprika, wild grains, radish and whipped buttermilk: The chicken was cooked to perfection. So soft and moist. The wild grains brought the whole dish together. Every bite of this was celestial.Squash salad, zucchini, stracciatella, currants and pine nuts: this place is known for its ‘botanical shares’ and for good reason. It actually tastes like a calm sunny day in a garden full of flowers. They offer some lovely cocktails and mocktails, too. I left with the biggest smile on my face.

One of the nicest little neighbourhood haunts. This little cottage style place is really cosy and the drinks are good and the food is great. Hard to find sometimes in Sydney
