The location of the cafe is fantastic. A half open air deck on the water right near north Sydney wharf. Theres also a beautiful garden behind it.I ordered coffee & croissant the coffee was good. Croissant was crispy, sweet & salty. My partner did order something called fruit fritter, it is a bit fancy.
You know how much I love trying out new restaurants – particularly those that don’t quite have an official rating when I go and eat there. Flying bear was the choice of my friend who took me here, and honestly it was such a treat to come by.The first thing you will notice are the gorgeous dogs roaming freely in the park, followed by the marina view with a whole lot of boats docked in the water. What makes Flying Bear quite lovely, is the outdoor seating overlooking the water. We thoroughly enjoyed watching a big golden retriever paddle away in the water.

I maintained a polite attitude throughout and he was just so dismissive and uncaring. In the end he gave me a too short measure of coffee, shoving into my hand just to further upset this customer. Such a shame one employee can ruin a whole experience. This guy:
