Visited on a Friday night with a party of 8. Ordered the south African cab sav and asked to taste first. Waitress asks if it’s the red one, I reply with a ‘yes’ and was given a full glass by another waiter. Checked with the waiter if it was a taste test or the full glass. He replied with ‘it’s a full glass’…. Waitress seems quite unknowledgable. I didn’t want to cause any trouble, so I accepted the full sized glass. By the way, I didn’t like the wine. It was mediocre.Ordered food and it took so long to come out. Friend ordered a risotto (it looked liked baked cailiflower). Judging by her expressions and actions, it looked like she didn’t enjoy it.Shared the lamb ribs and rib eye with salad. Meats were really tender and cooked just right. Lamb fell off the bone. I found the lamb ribs softer than the beef ribs. The mushroom sauce on the side was side. It was really gluggy . Also got the sprout salad with eggplant and halloumi. There was only two pieces of eggplant. Had to request more. The chips on my husbands plate were subpar. I’ve had better chips.pOverall the meats are done well however the sides, service and cook times has room for improvement.
