I dont have idea if this Concrete Jungle has same management with the one on Chippendale or not. I’ve been visit the one in Chippendale btw. Just had lil brunch with hubby here. Hubby had salmon bagels which the smoked salmon not really salty he reckon, probably it was homemade. I just had cassava fries since already had food at Panlasang. It’s unique since cassava isnt really familiar in Aussie.
Food was delicious. The only downfall of the dishes was that we found a spider in the smoothie bowl and a bug in the drink. Waitress dealed with the situation well, we suspect the bugs were from the flowers/mint leaves
Great menu with lots of wholesome nourishing options! I got this nourish plate with falafels, cous cous, avo and some other vegan additions and it was delicious! However the falafel was very dry and crumbly, a bit disappointed by the consistency. Everyone raves on about the Blue Majik bowl as well however the blend was quite disappointing, and the topping was a puffed rice cereal instead of granola or muesli. This was unfortunate and it was not how we expected it to be.
