Love the coffee here and the breakfast. Service is quick and efficient. I usually order eggs on toast with sides or ask them to make me a wrap and its just a simple, delicious breaky meal, no fuss!
An unexpected find in Kogarah, this busy cafe is popular with nearby workers. The menu offers standard cafe fare with a Greek influence. I had the grilled Cajun chicken sandwich with avocado and tomato. It was well constructed and came with a delicious rocket and cabbage side salad with a zingy dressing. My friends had the chicken and lamb souvlaki plate, served with pita, halloumi and salad. The hearty food was honest and tasty.
The service here is an unfortunate let down as the menu and food is relatively good. There is a genuine disinterest for customers and we felt we were faced with a negative attitude from the girl working on the day who seemed more interested in chatting with friends rather than assisting.Despite Kaimaki being more or less empty, food took some time. We were however pleasantly surprised. Coffee here is good and these guys are licensed. The bruschetta is no better than your average however the lamb salad shines with tender pieces of lamb and beautiful beetroot. Its a shame the staff were such a let down as there is potential here. crumbs-au.com
