Average food (nothing special) which costs much more than the average in Kogarah. However the service was shocking. In our group I had my food delivered within 15min, but a friend next to me had to wait 80min for beef nachos despite staff being prompted 3 times in that period. Repeat. A beef nachos took over 80min.It turns out from observation that one of the staff members was rather lazy and did not bother to assemble the ingredients to the nachos despite these prompts.Pretty disgusting and I will never be back.

Interesting menu now that it has diversified from simple pub grub. However, prices still remain a little higher than what we’d expect of pub grub and, for the quality of the it, Korean food. Sizes are generous, in that they are enough to feed us; granted, we don’t need to eat that much to be full.Service is acceptable if but strange, given the apparently small area where the cashier and the cook are tucked away.Kogarah Hotel is generally a quiet place but can also serve as a place for get-togethers or a place to crash when watching the football. Can’t say we’d be champing at the bit to go back. However, not that bad a place and always hits the spot with its schnitzels.

Diverse menu, reasonable value, size and quality. Not very obvious to walk-by traffic, the restaurant is located upstairs above the pub. Not too busy, sports on big screens and a warm location for winter. Will drop in again sometime.
