Loukoumadnese is a little food truck version… behind the express version… across the road from the main main version of the Parea Restaurant (yes… that’s 3!). This place seves greek doughnuts as dessert, with different indulgent toppings.The salted caramel popcorn version is pretty damn good. The popcorn is actually cheese flavoured and I never thought that cheese and caramel would go so well together! The caramel sauce is divine! Even if there was no popcorn this would be still good. This is the dessert you come here for. Honeycomb pieces on the chocolate honeycomb version were really chunky and pretty nice. The chocolate itself is dark and a little bitter. This would have been smashing smothered with milk chocolate. When you do get a piece of the honeycomb where the milk chocolate has melted off it onto the doughnuts, that part is delicious! A little more honeycomb and milk chocolate will make this awesome.The service was quick but we were here early before it was packed. The doughnuts are fresh and there’s Greek music playing in the background for added ambience.
