Friendly service at a small local cafe on President Ave. $7.50 for a med coffee + cake is refreshingly light on the pocket. Plenty of pastries and treats to choose from. Coffee was decent. The caramel cone was a perfect size, generous but not sugar overload.

Great little South American patisserie with strong coffee great empenadas and a magnitude of dulche de leche filled cakes and pastries including canoli, cronuts and tarts. Your eyes will be cashing cheques your stomach can’t handle. A great place for a coffee and a cake. Recommended for those with a sweet tooth. aroundtheclockfoodie.com

Dulce de leche heaven. Get anything here with dulce de leche in it (and there are plenty of choices for this). Best churros in Sydney with dulce de leche piped into the middle of them – has it all over the commercial places. Kurt, you’re a champion!

Excellent service. Awesome mud cake. I ordered a mud cake cake for my son’s first birthday..it was really good..very well decorated.Very friendly staff specially the owner and its good value for money. I will definitely recommend my friends to try sugarloaf.

Empanada was bit plain..just tasted like a meat pie really. Girlfriends lamb shank pie was good. Nice to have free hot sauce.

Sugarloaf Patisserie (37 President Ave Kogarah NSW 2217). I went there with my wife and daughter one sunny weekend afternoon recently to find almost empty shelves, a poor selection to choose from and told that there were no churros available also. Very disappointing. You would think that a weekend afternoon would be their busy time. There were no other customers in the shop. No wonder really!Try the Chocolate Bar in Bay Street at Brighton instead.
