Bought takeaway on a Friday night via Uber eats. Overall quality of food was good. We ordered a Wagyu yakiniku main and Teriyaki chicken main. You can select how well you want the wagyu cooked and it was indeed cooked perfection medium rare. The beef was juicy and tender and was well flavoured. The chicken was also juicy and good teriyaki flavour. Would order from here again!
Tasty food, very cheap and still top quality! Also, the service is super friendly! Ambiance is quite relaxed ^^ I really love the sushi from here and would definitely recommend it!

Something different. I decided to try this place when the staff was handing out flyers at the station. Staff and service get a 5/5. I think the place is a bit overrated, but I digress. The sushi is alright, though it’s not the same quality or standard you would find in an authentic Japanese restaurant. I find the sushi aesthetically inconsistent– the size of the rolls are uneven, and you could see the occasional sushi roll falling apart. The rice in the sushi is a little different, so expect a small difference in taste and texture. I recommend the chicken donburi if you want to go by the regular menu. tldr; I can come back to Sushi Rakumi, though not eagerly. I wouldn’t go out of my way to run over there to get food. Eating here frequently now!. Tried this place after receiving one of their hand out flyers advertising all sushi for $3. Have never looked back since!They have a wide variety of extremely YUMMY sushi. The portions are very generous, and the staff there are also very friendly. This place EASILY matches and even beats what you can find in the city for value and quality of food.After the first time, this has been our local go-to Japanese restaurant.If you have not tried them, make sure you do – you will NOT be disappointed.
