Avoid this place! Service was terrible. Swearing in the kitchen and staff can be seen eating at their table near the counter. These guys have no idea how to run a restaurant which is why it’s really just a take away pizza place, not a place to dine at. Go next door to Aperativo the place that does Vera pizza napolitana.

Hi Guys,Full credit for your service and the nice quality of the interior. However, we were very disappointed with our mains. The steak was well cooked but the vegetables were very ordinary, particularly when one is paying $30 a dish. Come on guys, there are more interesting veges than carrots, broccoli and potatoes! how about a bit of creative thinking. Also the sources were ordinary…one really doesn’t want the (bloody?) pan juices seeping into the (wine?) sauce. We expected something better from the Italians than the old meat and three veg.
Amazing place, been here quite a few times now. Nice and tasty food and very friendly staff. After a week on my second visit they even remembered what I ordered on my first visit. Good choice of steaks. Most importantly steak cooked to my choice even on the busiest weekend evening. Pastas and pizzas great. Very much impressed with this restaurant.
This is nice little place that serves a good pizza. Pricing is what you’d expect in Leichhardt nowadays for a pizza. The pizza and service is average, especially if they are busy. The waiters are usually Italian which adds to the authenticity.
The food here is very tasty and we enjoy picking dishes off the specials menu to try, all of which have been very pleasant. Service is a bit of a hit and miss, unfortunately, which is a shame since we love the food here. When the service is good, they are welcoming, attentive and friendly. When it’s bad, they leave you standing at the front feeling very awkward, with no acknowledgement. Even when seated, sometimes they forget to bring over menus, or take orders from waiting customers. They are very understaffed on the weekends, with usually just a lone waiter running around like a headless chicken. I do continue to come here regardless of the inconsistent service, hopefully their service gets better as the food is nice.
The best Italian Restaurant in Leichhardt. Go where the locals goI’m an Italian living in Leichhardt and been to all the restaurants in the area this is by far the best! Good authentic Italian food with an experienced chef and kitchen. Warm service always happy with the feel of going to your friend or family place for dinner. Great pasta, pizza, mains, home made deserts (seriously Nona style) , and octopus salad yum, at a great price. Eat here once a week without fail with friends and family as many locals do. A must dine in Leichhardt
