We used to raze how amazing our meal here was once upon a time but maybe things have changed and what we had the last time was just borderline pass…The cauliflower fine…the vinegar and yoghurt dressing works well – kinda mediterranean no? Is theres much cauliflower in the Benelux…?The brisket was still quite tough, it obviously hadnt been braised enough and it had dried out either from the fridge or the time on the grill…why grill? Pan, sauce and glaze please! The knuckle was decent, the serving the skin on the side was delightful and actually a good idea…but again removing the skin before braising likely impacted the knuckle also drying it out since theres not enough fat there….The duck again, obviously French influenced confit, again probably a two days old causing it to also dry out once reheated…either that or it needed to be confit longer much longer….appreciate the attempt to crisp the skin side but the bone side was left unnecessarily charred…Dessert, chocolate souffl…idk orange is seen to go well with chocolate but does it? Would have preferred another condiment then an orange ice cream…even the humble vanilla would have worked better :)Not what it used to me…maybe if they had mussels that night???
