Fantastic joint. Young crew but please dont let their apparent lack of experience stop you from coming here. If you have a booking dont miss out on coming here. Pizzas are great get take away if you miss out on a spot to sit. Get here early when they open!
Just visited this restaurant with my boyfriend while visiting from Sydney and the service was terrible! We started by ordering 2 drinks which we waited half an hour for (we asked the waitress after 20 mins and she never came back to confirm/apologise to us). Tables surrounding us ordered drinks after us but received them way before us. There was no apology even when our drinks finally arrived. The manager then was asking all tables how their meal/experience was and chose to walk straight past us, a gay couple. We expressed our dissatisfaction with the service when we payed the bill and the manager and wait staff all crowed round and were defensive and argumentative. We had to pay and leave as the whole restaurant was watching this display. Please avoid this place! There is a lovely bar/restaurant just around the corner called The Garage with friendly and attentive staff and great food and drinks. Give them your money instead.

When they remade the second time it came out with steak on it _ not just one piece. Staff were absent, mostly talking to each other at the bar and ignoring customers. Hard to get served. As sort of acknowledgement, as we paid, our waiter said he was embarrassed and hed make the pizza himself if he could, but he was just waiting. On the positive, Cocktails were great. Avoid like the plague, unless you just want a cocktail and dont like attentive waiting staff.
Great little hidden gem off Leura Mall. Went there tonight and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food and drinks were great. Pizza was delicious. Would visit again.
With many venues with rustic touch in Leura, Polar Bear of Leura definitely gives different vibe to the community. Love their modern and trendy decor with black, gold and grey as dominant colours. The showcase of array of cocktails also added a nice and wow factor to the whole room.We started with the coffee and it was amazing.As for the food, we had their Ribs, Pizza and Grilled Barramundi. Ribs are falling-of-the-bone delicious. Id prefer for the potatoes to be cooked a little bit further though (so its more tender). Pizza (of Leura) is quite good with a touch of spiciness and the Barramundi is delish (with tasty mandarin sauce).
