UPDATE! BB King is under new management, and they don’t have all you can eat deals anymore. Not like your typical Korean BBQ, For one you don’t cook the food- servers come every few mins to flip the meat and cut it up for you. Plus, complimentary cheese sauce!!! The menu is limited, there’s no chicken in the BBQ menu.
Disgusting. Don’t waste your money eating here, some of the meat (pork & prawns) were not fresh. The prawns were black, it looked like it was sitting there for 2 days. Dishes were not labelled, we had to ask the waitress what type of meat there was -She did not know and had to ask another waitress.
It used to be good (meat selection, precooked dishes and other stuff). But my last visit today was very disappointing. At the beginning, they refused to turn on two bbq grills to accommodate four adults and two children. They pushed hard to sit the six of us with one bbq grill table. The place was quite empty. After I insisted that it would be too slow, one of the wAitress reluctantly set up the second ones. But after that incident, they were quite ok. I suspect that there were a changed in management.
Located just on the south side of Lidcombe Station, this all you can eat Korean BBQ is very popular among the young generation.You would need to choose carefully here as not all range can be considered okay. That said, the fact that they use Oyster Blade for their BBQ means they do know their meat.Service is good, every time a dish is about to run out they quickly replenish it.Bottom line: Mostly average food but some better than the other. Good Service. Good value for money.
Visit this place only if you are a real cheap skate that wants to save $5 OR absolute broke and unemployed OR a homeless.plus you like eating garbage bin quality food. Please don’t make a mistake that I did and took my girlfriend here. If you dont mind eating garbage visit well before 8.30pm because after that they bearly top up any dishes.
Poor selection of marinated meats, poor quality of marinated meat, poor tasting marinated meat. This was a major disappointment as it was 90% of the reason for going to a Korean bbq buffet restaurant. There was a lot of unmarinated meat lying around too. However, the rest of their food was decent and tasted reasonably well. Price is about 10% cheaper than other restaurants.
The Worst Experience DO NOT BUY VOUCHER DEALS!Bought a voucher from Living Social, made reservation for 7:00pm, got confirmation from the staff (although deal was for specific time but asked staff if we could come at 7:00pm and that person confirmed the booking and we also quoted that we bought voucher from Living Social).We went to the restaurant and straight to the counter, showed the voucher first of all the person at the counter barely speaks English and asked for the help of another person. Anyway I told them I made booking and clearly seen my name on the register but that guy first spent 10 minutes to figure out what this voucher is for then said I should come on the time specify on the voucher I explained that person that I have made the booking and clearly mentioned if I could come at 7:00pm and got the confirmation but they were not letting us sit. I asked I need to speak with their manager and guy went upstairs to inform their manager, meanwhile the other person let us sit on the table. After 5 minutes owner came and said we have to LEAVE as we should come on the time mentioned on voucher, after arguments he said NO we have to leave, so embarrassed red face we left the restaurant. No RESPECT and would not come to this place ever.
