Bought their dishes for take away (on special because it’s almost the closing time. 3 for $12). Flavours are nice and not too oily as I normally find at other Asian food outlets.I’ve tried their char kway teow, honey chicken and singapore noodle. Not bad.
For me it’s better than your average Chinese food court food place. There was a long line for the freshly cooked food but I was hungry so I chose what was already prepared Had the curry puff,I liked it because of the slightly crunchy crust it hasHad the Malaysian chicken curry (not spicy at all,it’s ok) and the sambal eggplant (not much sambal taste but I still enjoyed it) Service,I can see can be frustrating because they are busy and just serve anyone standing around while others wait in a line I thinkI enjoyed this more than I should
Delicious food at good prices. I pop by from work at lunch time because there’s a variety of ready made meals and it’s 2 choices mixed for $9. There is also a choice to make your order fresh, which not part of the lunch time special but still super reasonably priced.
Had the king prawn meegorang noodles and the pork chops by itself. The pork chops were absolutely amazing and for only $4 too! Might be the best I’ve ever had. The noodles were great too, tasted like a high quality pad hokkien. Great fast food.
Have tried their food at Burwood branch a few times and now a regular at Lidcombe one. Have their special fried rice and also singapore noodles mainly ($11.00 each off their main menu ). Have to say both are pretty good for what they are. Both are good sized portions (think noodle bowl for takeaways). Food is tasty to my pallette..the fried rice includes prawns bbq pork as ingredients. Singapore noodles is colorful and slightly spicy .Really quite nice. Service is friendly and fast. Havent tried the lunch bar food. Overall imho value for money.
The food is AMAZING!!!!!!! Smells AMAZING!!!!!!! I recommend having a Wunton Noodle Soup and Veggie Rice Noodles!!! You should definitely go there and have the AMAZING food they have there!!!
It’s great to find something like this here… As there’s not many Asian food options. Unfortunately with the diversity of offerings (Thai, Malaysian, Chinese…) It seems to not quite hit the mark for me.The flavor of the laksa is good however the fried tofu was added and a little harder than it would be if it had been soaking in the broth longer. Also I find the addition of Western mushrooms (vegetable laksa) not very authentic. Perhaps eggplant would be a more authentic choice. The noodle soup was alright, nothing particularly special. If anything the thick egg noodle was a little too soft for my liking. The portion is decent, and the ingredients seem fresh. instagram.com
