First impression TERRIBLE HYGEINE AND SERVICE. We placed a reservation and was forced to wait outside in the windy weather then they served us out back. The prices are not the same, the jjampong jungol was $10 more expensive then the menu which is a lot. The dish was $45, more expensive than many restaurants in the city which employ chefs. The kitchen was seen and not hygeinic practises such as wearing gloves were seen. Korean families only eat outside if there is no side dishes at home- NO SIDE DISHES WERE SERVED, we were shocked. Our family was shocked as side dishes in korea is as important as eating our main. The kimchi was meh along with the ggakduki which we could tell was extremely off tasting. Then our dishes were served, terrible tasting soup. It was the same as instant aoup flavor except with measly portions of seafood along with it. The worst shock was saved for last ,RIGHT NEXT TO OUR TABLE FOOD SCRAPS were DUMPED and being CLEANED and there were SEVERAL COCKROACHES crawlinf around. We all put down our chopsticks and promptly left with a terrible experience.

$42 for a BIGGGG pot of spicy beef stew which was filled to the brim with bean sprouts, mushrooms, noodles and dumplings + beef was lean! Totally exceeded my expectations – Comfort food on a cold rainy day 🙂 service was efficient, will definitely come back again!

Very nice local Korean restaurant. We had the sausage hot pot with noodles, kimchi pancake and dumplings. Everything was very tasty. Most of the clientele were Korean. Very authentic experience.

Must try yukgemandoo! Good noodle dishes in general. Liked the spicy jokbal too. It is a simple looking restaurant, no fancy decor but good quality makes up for it. Always full of Korean locals which tells you the place is authentic

Had the spicy seafood stew and seafood pancake. Sooo much food but not a lot of seafood at the $45 price tag. Service was nice and friendly and the restaurant was pretty packed for quite an early dinner. Wouldn’t go back due to lack of value for money.

We ordered the beef soup noodles with dumplings. The the dumplings were nice but the soup was way too salty. We were disappointed as there were mainly Korean patrons in the restaurant.

You know you are in a very authentic Korean restaurant when all patrons are conversing in Korean. Blackboard specials are written in Korean, and waitstaff speaks very little English. We ordrred Spicy seafood tofu soip. Bibimbap with Miso soup and their blackboard dpecial number one which is a fried fush didh. Firstly they serve four side dishes then not long after all the dishes came out one by one. One of the side dishes is the cold white soup which tastes a bit sour but very pleasant. Their Kim chi is very authentic, fresh spucy and tangy. The rest are very similar to those served in Korean BBQ restaurant. Their Bibimbsp is not served in hot stonebowl. While all the ingredients are served on one separate plate covering the luke warm rice. The bulgogi beef which is part of this bibimbap dish is very delicious. The rest are very fresh but doesn’t look or taste like the bibimbap we know. The spicy seafood soup is better than average while the fried fish is very unique. Not only it looks simple but it taste very clean just like the dish you would normally have in Japanese Degustation.Bottom line : Great food. Good service. Good Value for money and quality.
