After looking for a new cafe to try in the lidcombe area, with so many questionable cafes that I walked in and walked back out. So we settled with this place. I was really craving poached eggs, I liked what I saw when the plate came out. Well, the eggs were over cooked and the bacon was under cooked. Also could they not have invested in cute little shakers with their logos rather the standard supermarket style. We got take away coffee afterwards and I admit it was nice. Won’t do food again but coffee yes
Service is a little indifferent but the takeaway coffee service is efficient, so while it took a little while for my order to be taken they were pretty fast making it. The green tea latte was nice, although on the sweeter side.
Nice coffee in lidcombe shopping centre. Friendly service and great array of cakes and treats. We only ordered coffees this visit but we’re impressed. Most of cakes from Papas..
My favourite coffee shop in Auburn! Not sure what his name is, but the boss (wears a cap) makes the best coffee – unlike 90% of other places, it is actually made extra hot when asked. The cakes are delicious too, I was delighted to find that they have the famous ricotta cheesecakes from Papa’s Pasticceria!
We waited so long for our coffee after having ordered and paid. They served many take away orders before us. After waiting 10 minutes and no staff checking on tables at all we had to go and ask for our coffee. Trying to get staffs attention was impossible. Terrible service which is a shame because the coffee is good. We wont be coming here again and wouldnt recommend.
Ordered their Papa Paticceria pistachio muffin. They offered to heat it up. It was SO GOOD. Attentive service even during lunch time. Nice fitout. instagram.com
Along with some donuts for the kids and myself, the missus has a more refined sweet tooth so I got her some cannoli and a nutella bomb to take home to eat in front of the footy. Can’t really go wrong can you?
