Nice cafe which is quite large – lots of seating available. Large windows with lots of natural light. There is a lot on the menu to choose and many of it sounds great and Id like to go back an try more. I ordered the Moroccan Eggs which had a very flavourful pulled pork. This was the highlight of the dish. The eggs, hollandaise and English muffins were quite ordinary comparatively. And the presentation needs a lot of work. The eggs were poached well though. Staff were pleasant and friendly.
The food actually look quite presentable. Taste wise was ok, pretty standard cafe food. The service however was a bit amateur at best, at time was just lacking. Some staff just looked uncertain, or seems like they just don’t know what need to be done. Wait for service is long, the table next to me waited for ages to get a menu, and then even longer for them to come to take order.
We come here all the time. Have tried most of the day and dinner menus. Terrific food but a bit short staffed at times. Winners for brunch: Belgian waffles, corn fritters. Dinner: chicken fuska, chilli salted squid and tacos. Only downside is pricing is a bit steep
