I don’t like adding bad reviews, but sometimes I just feel the need. I came here with my partner very recently and left without finishing our food feeling very uncomfortable. While the staff who served us were lovely, during our meal we (and others around us) could hear loud yelling and swearing coming from the kitchen; I know this is somewhat normal in hospitality, but this was different, what I assume was the head chef, wasn’t just yelling, but sounded as though he was being outright aggressive towards his staff, we heard loud banging as well which lead to us leaving as we were worried that aggression was being directed towards staff. Very uncomfortable experience and very disappointing, definitely won’t be back.

Stop it! After many days in the region finally a cafe that is worthy if not beyond its rating score to date. Spanish Breakfast was meal of choice and did not disappoint, smoky chorizo, vine ripe cherry tomatoes, red onion with crispy potato served and fried egg with sourdough and a delectable relish accompaniment – mouth watering. I could barely wait to get the next bite down it was that good. Coffee was the way it should be – robust and not a milky grave. Will be back in a heartbeat

Nice little spot with shaded outdoor seating and some ambience.I ordered the Eggs Benedict and a latte for breakfast. The dish came out quickly and was pretty decent. I had to remove some of that rich sauce though to tone it down but the rockets also did a good job in neutralising that sauce. The latte was weak so can be better.

Gold Standard for Scrambled Eggs. If you cook for another cafe and make rubbish scrambled eggs, you need to come here and try it. This is how it should be done. The Eggs are perfect and the bacon is crispy. has been this way for 6 years, even with a change of owners! Good job. I’m Chuffed to see a couple of magazines to read! Good job. That’s made my day. Cheers, Greg.—–03 Feb, 2015—–What happened to the great magazines?. The coffee is great, atmosphere is great, the previous owners supplied great magazines to read, but the current owner could not be bothered! Greg.

Jewel of Lismore. Had a fabulous lunch here – excellent healthy food and they make a superb chilli chai latte. Looking forward to our next Lismore visit so we can do it all over again.
