3.5/5We stopped here for brekky on our way to Bathurst. Its super cozy with a fireplace. We ordered hot choccy and some food. My bacon and egg roll was satisfying, and boyfriends beans and corn bread tasty good too.The hot choccy didnt have enough chocolate in it, but they do give you a huge mug, maybe the coffee or tea would be better.

Popped in for a light lunch after our hike. The cafe was large, warm with a fireplace and many tables as well as couches. 2 of us ordered the pies and the other 2 opted for the steak burgers. the waitress did get our orders wrong though. She said only 1 beef pie and chicken tandoori chicken pies were left so we ordered that. Another waitress then told us our beef pie was mistakenly given to someone else and that there were still lamb pies left. Had we known there were lamb pies, my friend wouldnt have ordered the steak burger, which turned out tough, chewy and more of a sandwich than burger. The chicken tandoori pie was nice but quickly became overwhelming. The shoestring fries however were tasty and the coffees were decent too.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday morning. Not that busy but a long wait for drinks and food. The food was nice but they stuffed up my friends order who wanted avocado instead of kale. When my friend informed them, they took her plate and brought it back with avocado plonked on top of the kale. Another friends order was forgotten. Overall not a great first experience here.

Great atmosphere and setting in the old tin shed at the end of the main street in lithgow. Good quick service and we’ll priced meals. Try the steak sandwich. Friendly honest service from people who own the joint. Try the outdoor garden on a sunny day. Surry hills meets the bush. So much to see in lithgow well worth the trip…

I only had a pie and then an espresso… but both were excellent! Pie had great flavour and decent chunks of meat and the espresso was extremely good. A real gem in Lithgow, especially as I didn’t think there would be anything decent!
