This place is embarrassing. I ordered a container (small) of meat and they charged me $25! Then I asked for a side of lettuce and the lady said $35. Who in the world charges $10 for shredded lettuce? When questioned she responded with thats how much extra is was. Poor customer service and poor product quality.
The Falafel Bowl here is quite a generous serving and the falafels themselves are crispy on the outside, not dry on the inside and sprinkled with sesame seeds which added a nice texture – however they lacked flavour and I had to rely on the sauce to enjoy the falafels. I swapped the rice for the roasted sweet potato and unfortunately they were undercooked, a bit more time and they would have been perfect! The Greek salad I added to my plate was nothing special but at least the ingredients were fresh.
Hopeless service, rude staff, preying on hungry individuals to put up with their pathetic service. On top of everything, when asked for a bit more sauce, they want more $. Never visiting this place EVER. Rather starve to death.
I was wandering around Westfield Liverpool, waiting for a movie to begin. I knew I was hungry when I heard my tummy rumble, and I happened to be right in front of Ali Baba! The place was pretty crowded. I chose a regular-sized Falafel roll, with a soft drink. It did take a while to be prepared, but was well worth it. Wow, so juicy and tasty! Very filling too!The cost was pretty decent as well. I will likely drop in at Ali Baba whenever I am at Westfield Liverpool.
Was craving a kebab so had to get my fix but it was a major let down. I ordered a chicken kebab & barely got any chicken. I was eating salad right up until half way but didn’t bother going back to complain.
Beef Shawarma wasn’t up to what sales person promised. Couldn’t even finish it. Honestly I didn’t want to finish it. Tabouli inside the didn’t make the shawarma tastes good. anyway there is another leb outlet which is nice. Leave a review next time.
My impression: I find Ali Baba has good customer service and their food seems to be consistent. I have tried their Kebabs, Salads, Side Dishes…I feel they are a little on the pricey side, but if I was in the mood for a Kebab they would be on top of my list. They are not the best Kebab place I have been to, but for Westfields competition they are not too bad.
