I ordered from Aquacotta tonight, which was my second experience ordering from them. The first time I ordered, they forgot a dish but delivered it when we notified them. The quality of the food is good, but there were a few issues. Firstly, my boyfriend placed the order over the phone, and as I dont eat cheese, he clearly specified no cheese on all of the dishes. He mentioned this multiple times whilst ordering. When we received the food, one of the pizzas had cheese on it, and they had included three small containers of parmesan. As I could not eat the pizza, my boyfriend called again and mentioned that the pizza had cheese even though we specified we didnt want cheese. They initially mentioned they would give us store credit if we told the delivery person (although Im unsure how we could be assured this would be honoured). My boyfriend then specified that the delivery person had already left so the employee on the phone said shed send another, but it would not be quick as they only had three delivery people. She seemed more annoyed than apologetic. We ate the other food, and as I was eating the pasta, I noticed a piece of plastic about a centimetre long. Im assuming it had broken off from a takeaway box. Obviously this could have been dangerous had I not noticed it. Overall Im quite disappointed with my experience, and the response of the employee on the phone.
