I went to Thai me for lunch with tow friends on Monday 5 December 16. I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered BBQ prawn with vegetables and rice. I asked the waiter i f the vegetables had sauce to go with the rice.He assured me that yes! there is sauce in vegetables. I received my food. It was BBQ prawn, raw shredded cabbage and a little container with garlic dressing and boiled rice. I told them that the prawn and cabbage doesn’t go with the boiled rice. I asked them for some VEGETABLES cook in sauce. so they bring me back steamed vegetables with three lines of sauce on it and I was charged for that again. It could have been a language barrier but I didn’t enjoy the lunch at all. I will never go there again
The place is brand new, and it’s huge. Service was fast, and friendly. The restaurant was very very clean. I ordered the tofu and vegetable pad thai, which was ok. The flavours weren’t exactly on point. My girlfriend ordered the lamb chops and she seems to enjoy that very much.
We ordered the red curry, with chicken and beef separately and we also ordered the chicken stir fry with cashew nuts. Customer service could be improved with more smiles and grace. It was a bit pricey especially for something as minor as steamed white rice. However the food was delicious and the red curry was creamy and not at all watery. The ingredients were fresh and we left full and satisfied.
Thai Me offered us great service, the waitresses who served us were really helpful. The place also was nicely decorated, very modern and has a clean and well-arranged interior that adds to the experience. Though we had to wait a bit for the food, it was worth it. I took some family and friends along there for lunch and we really enjoyed the variety that was offered on their menu!We ordered Pad Thai, Tempura Prawns, Fried Ice Cream, Salt and Pepper squid and a few others that we wanted to try.. The place is really convenient, especially for usaround the Liverpool area. I definitely really recommend it, especially for family and friends!
