I was feeling uninspired for my lunch break so I decided to try something new. Marble street grabbed my attention. The menu looked simple and to the point with some interesting drinks. I ordered the vegetable dumplings. I was surprised that it took 20 mins to cook 4 dumplings and they were still a little undercooked when they came out. Although, the flavour of the filling itself was delicious. The girl at the counter seemed unsure of her self and was just standing there when there were plenty of tables that needed clearing & as there isnt much seating it wouldve helped to have extra spots.
Im always on the hunt for new tea places especially cute ones. Besides the beverage which looks like a fancy transparent coffee take away cup, which can be reused, they also offers drinks in a transparent bag. Since Im a person who loves nice packaging and reusable stuff, Marble Street offers the perfect cup for me and the milk tea was good as well! MENU: On their menu there is not only refreshing tea but also cakes (e.g. mango, durian), egg waffles, steamed buns and soo much more. STAFF:The staff member was super polite! PRICE:For a milk tea with a topping and that amount the price was super fair!
The food was great but I felt like it was a little overpriced. The seating that was available was a little awkward but adaptable. The images of food was very accurate and really pleasing.
waited twenty minutes for my egg waffles then I asked the counter girl where was my waffles. she forgot to put the order through…very appalling and I got a refund
Had higher expectations for this place Everything we had was ok,nothing stood out Drinks in a sealed plastic bag is interesting Fried ice cream I was expecting more sweetness and the waffle did have the taste I’m use too (comeback do it better)
Street food & on the go treats, minus the crowded environment and uncertain level of hygiene. The egg tarts were perfect! Flaky pastry, with an unsweetened real egg filling. Unlike the generic, gelatinous, or overly sweet tarts that are sold in some bakeries.
I was super excited when I saw that they serve egg waffles! I can now have one of my favourite snack without venturing out to Chinatown or Cabramatta. However my excitement didn’t last long. The waffle was soggy (despite being made fresh), it was actually under done. Not only was it not crispy on the outside, but it tasted doughy. Rather disappointing.
