Cant go much wrong with their schnitzy or chook caesar wraps but this time i went with fish and chips! Never knew they sell it after all this time. They can get busy during lunch peak times but the ladies out front do their best. The afternoon specials are a good deal. They go quickly though.
Hearty would be one way to describe Sandwich Stack, and how could that not win your heart already. They have one side for the hot food like roast pork, baked vegies, chicken schnitzel, hot chips etc. The other side is for the gourmet sandwiches with fresh ingredients laid out for you to choose from.The hot food is delicious and you get a great amount for around $13 so all round a good option for a satisfying lunch.
Embarrassing experience/ Horrible service!! Was waiting in line while holding my baby to order breakfast for myself and my baby, we were waiting for about 10 minutes. The girl working behind the counter served another man who just got there, she then walked away and started chatting to her friend… When she realised I was still waiting, she came around. I politely advised the girl that she should learn to serve the customers in order, she then started yelling at me, in front of all the customers and staff working there! After she had her rant, she then asked ‘do you want to order or what’… All the customers were looking, I was so embarrassed! and the girl making the coffee had her mouth open in disbelief, but did nothing about it… I assumed as this is a franchisee the staff would keep professional at all times, as they have a reputation to uphold, but I was clearly wrong… I now share my sorry about the horrible experience everywhere! I was so humiliated!
There chicken schnitzel sandwich is tasty and fresh, also it’s huge so it fills you up. But there fish and chips are a disaster. Not crispy and no taste, I would suggest the chicken sandwich over the fish.
Love their chicken schnitzel sandwich and their torpedo roll with an added hash brown is a must try. The prices can be a little high for what you get but just wait till their afternoon specials when everything goes down to $5.
