The humble doughnut has to be the most cliche sugary snack around, particularly one coated in bright colour icing. It’s everything the nutritionist warn you about, but despite all that, they are just so good and tempting! So in my moment of weakness I got one of Teca’s brightly coloured caramel coated creation with a coffee. It was a good one, strong cinnamon spice taste, moist & fluffy, not overly sweet, went well with a sugarless coffee.
Bought a $4.80 cinnamon scroll on the way home yesterday. It was stale as, almost inedible. If I’d been eating it there, I’d have sent it back.
Just so happened they strategically placed a donut stand at the nearest exit to my carpark got a mixed 6pack of iced donuts to take home to the kiddies. 6 = $7.50 so great value.
