Went for breakfast with the family. Absolutely beautiful food. Couldn’t fault it at all. Coffee on the other hand was only warm but this may have been because it was so very busy!!! We did wait quite along time for our food to come out. The adult meals came first and we did have to check they hadn’t forgotten our son’s food as we were nearly finished before his came out. Service was good though you could tell they were run off their feet! We won’t go back on a Sunday for breakfast as it’s just to busy but definitely will go back as the food was delicious!
Top notch grub with good service to boot. Great value for money. Dropped in for breakfast after reading about it on Zomato but ended up having the lunch meals. Chai lattes, Fritters (option for bacon or smoked salmon) and the burrito bowl. They have a small children’s menu but the kiddo loved her bacon and egg muffin. We def recommend to others when in the area. It does get busy but tables and staff are plentiful.
The MRAG has some great activities on for kids in the school holidays, so needless to say this place was busy and quite loud. There was 5 of us at our table and unfortunately for me, once four of the dishes were served they realised that they had in fact not put my order thru and hence I had to wait for mine whilst everyone else started to eat. I ordered the Seraphine warm chicken salad and the mix of marinated tenderloins, with leafy greens, cashews, shredded onion and carrot would lead itself towards an Asian inspired dish, however then we have the addition of fresh pear, avocado and Camembert. This was plentiful with a good mix of all ingredients and worked quite well together. You can enjoy the breakfast menu here for the full day as well which most of the other guests did. The salad was featured on the lunch menu. Disappointing that you get charged $1 extra for tomato and BBQ sauce. As it was extremely busy the service in regards to setting the table, serving water and taking our orders was a little slow, however once our orders were placed most of the meals arrived quite quickly. There is also a selection of cakes and treats in the display cabinet for you to choose from. I would visit again as all the food was very fresh.Suitable for kids – Yes as there is a room next to the cafe with some activities to keep them amused and drawings to complete that you could bring to the table, just a shame you get charged for sauce. All in all a nice meal, just unfortunate I didn’t get to enjoy mine the same time as all the others.
Enjoyed a delicious breakfast here on the weekend. From the outside it didn’t look like much but inside is really nicely done with views into the museum gift shop. The service was really friendly and the drinks and food came out quickly. The food was really delicious and I was happy to see there were breakfast options beyond the standard eggs and bacon.
Been here a number of times and the coffee is good, the ambience is nice and the food generally good. Their menu hardly accommodates people with food intolerances. All I could get was the avocado on toast which would have been delicious if it didn’t have all the weird toppings on it. I am a huge fan of different flavours but it just didn’t work and even if it did I would not serve it as a breakfast item. Staff here have always been sweet but the floor staff are shy. I will return to eat here when the menu is updated but will grab a coffee when I can.
