Beaches has a nice casual atmosphere, yet cosy enough for a dinner date. I found the sizes to be a little small. These are thin base pizzas but don’t skimp on toppings. Overall they are delicious, but have found are other better offerings elsewhere. Enjoyed a few Peroni’s with my pizza but was disappointed with a limited menu. crumbs-au.com
From bad to worse. We ordered 3 take away pizzas from Beaches tonight.I hadn’t been there in a few years so was pumped to check it out again.What. a. shambles.When we got home and opened the pizzas, 1 pizza was completely wrong and the other two looked they toppings on a couple of pancakes. The bases were deadset paper thin and we suspected they were gluten free bases. One of the pizzas looked like someone had already picked it up and tampered with it as well. We called them back and explained the sitatuion and asked them to make us three new pizzas. They said they’d be ready in twenty.When we arrived 20 minutes later no one knew about it and we went through the process again.Furthermore, the manager was rude, blantantly telling us we were wrong as ‘they only sold gluten free pizzas’ in a small. Righto.Anyway, we waited another thirty minutes for our replacement pizzas during which, at no point, did the manager offer any sort of explanation, apology or compensation of any kind.One of her waitstaff was, to be fair, lovely and tried to explain what had happened.When we finally got our pizzas, we explained our frustrations to the manager; her response? Sorry, I’m busy.Needless to say, we’ll never be going to Beaches again.
Pizza tasted good but was too small / unfulfilling. Despite ordering a large pizza each, we were all still hungry afterwards . We had to have a sandwich when we got home !However, staff were friendly and ambience pleasant. But they need to be more generous with portion sizes.
Hands down my favorite Pizza place. I have eaten there many times now with family and friends. The wine selection is fantastic and food is amazing! I give it a 10/10! Fantastic place to eat with a friendly causal atmosphere. I’ll be back soon.
The most hopeless service I have experienced. I’m not fussy when i go out, but simple friendly service goes a long way. This place fails on all counts. Staff are more interested talking to each other and friends that come in than serving and are disinterested to offer help at any time. Waited to be asked for drinks for 40 minutes, gave up and went to the bar to be greeted with attitude. Too bad cause the food is pretty good.
Perfect place for a laid back glass or two to compliment the tasty pizza selection. We used a Group Buying voucher so it was an absolute steal. We’ll be back for sure.
Picture perfect. I had an enjoyable time at beaches not long ago. we needed a table of 10 – and were desperate to get in there. it didnt look like this place would be able to fit more than 8+, but the waiters were more than happy to work around the table configuration, and we managed. the wine was excellent, pizza was delicious and all in all the vibe of the place made our evening perfect. a great place to entertain and show off to non-locals!
