Went here after a run and craving something sweet. Belgrave Cartel is conveniently located very close to the wharf and where i work. It was quite dimly lit, there’s more of a bar feel to it than a cafe. Love the solo window seating which makes going there on my own less awkward. I ordered an espresso to start then a hot soy chocolate. Coffee was very good and the chocolate was very nutty. For breakfast, I ordered the granola with coconut yoghurt, which is a vegan option (there’s 2 on the menu!!).The granola serving was very generous, I swear it is meant for 2 people. The yoghurt granola ratio was not ideal, maybe less granola. Fruits were fresh and the whole plate wasn’t too sweet but enough for my craving. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. Staff was friendly and service was prompt. Price was reasonable for Manly. May come back for savoury breakfast next time.

Very Busy because it’s really, really good. Lovely, helpful communicative staff, delicious coffee and food. Really quirky decor, love it’s old world meets hipster quaint. Hope to go again sometime and sit back in the sofas, sip my coffee, read the paper…….

Wonderfully cool place to brunch on a sunny Sunday morning. So much character in this very popular Manly eatery and the coffee and food is worth telling your friends about. Ordered The Fence (poached eggs, asparagus, baby spinach drizzled w honey mustard dressing on multigrain sourdough), Coco Joe granola bowl (vegan option) and the The Avo (w bacon extra). Spectacular dishes and great nourishment after a fierce gym workout. Love the fact that they make their own honey upstairs on the building’s rooftop and you can purchase a jar on your way out!

Had the pirates eggs/chips/beans and the mixed mafia eggs got brunch here. Both meals were delicious and service is great. Love the little alleyway, smart utilisation of space and dining with beautiful sunlight.

A little taste of downtown New York City in Manly. The atmosphere is so wonderful in this small bar style venue. The Italian menu tastes authentic and the staff look just ad good as the drinks.
