The happy hour deal here is amazing – $6 for house wine or spirits, from 4-6 PM everyday. We came here for drinks after walking around Manly during the weekend and managed to get a table in the bar section with a great view of the harbour. Our server was attentive and friendly, and we really enjoyed her service. Upon her recommendation of the bar menu, we ordered the salt and pepper squid. Unfortunately we had given another server our order and he misplaced it, which ended up in quite some time before us sorting out the issue. Our server apologised profusely even though it was not her fault to begin with. The squid was really tender and tasty. It came with chilli jam and instead of overpowering the freshness of the squid, the chilli jam enhanced the flavour and added a zest to the dish. Overall very enjoyable experience and the happy hour is a must go over the weekend if you happen to be in the area.
