Went to In Situ for dinner on a Tuesday night and found all sorts of discounts and specials in place. For a start they have happy hour from 4pm-7pm everyday which includes $10 cocktails, 1/2 priced pizza and $10 tapas on Tuesday and Thursday! Chose 2 pizzas (usually $22); a meat lovers and a goat’s cheese and honey that were pretty interesting and tasty with a thin crust. Also ordered a spicy calamari from the tapas menu, but rather than spicy….. just tasted like the rub off Barbecue Shapes. Anyhow, liked the atmosphere and was having a fun time with my half priced house Sauv Blanc for $5 which was actually pretty good when something happened I have never seen before. Two staff members came and sat a few tables away with their boxes of Dominos pizzas and garlic bread and ate this in front of us. Were they on a meal deal? Were their pizzas better than ours? Still gobsmacked!
Came in on a cold Saturday winters night. Inside was a bustling warm, dimly lit, rustic establishment. Making our way to the back to the tables, we were greeted by a friendly host. Unfortunately there were no tables visible.Our host quickly scrambled together a table for us!We had aranchini balls, calamari, chicken supreme pizza and a rib eye.Atmosphere 4.5/5Entrees 3.75/5Pizza 2.75/5Rib eye 3/5.Great place for pre drinks, date, or casual dinning. Been here about 6 times now. Defs coming back.
Great place for a cocktail. Can get packed but I enjoy the atmosphere when busy. Could do with some extra bar staff as drink lines can take a while but really do like to go here for a beverage
Worst experience in Manly. This place took 40 minutes for our food to come out. I asked for no onion in my omlette and it came out with onion. It also came out topped with mint which wasn’t on the menu and was missing the quinoa!Strawberry milkshake was tasteless and had rotten strawberries in it and cutlery was dirty!Staff were friendly but many people were asking where their food was without being given prior warning about the waiting time. Also heard another couple complain that they had been charged extra on their bill so obviously waiters weren’t paying attention to where they were entering orders. Only positive thing is that it’s a 2 minute walk from the beach. Won’t come back…
Restaurant and bar In Situ serves you a nice variety of pizzas, salads and entrees on a nicely decorated room. At night it has live music. The home made bread was delicious and so was the warm date cake!
These corn fritters were amazing despite not possibly looking as such. The coffee is decent and a funky vibe. Staff really cool and only a short walk from Manly Beach.
Man this place gets packed, but for good reasons. As long as you dont suffer from claustrophobia get stuck into their incredible cocktails and talented bar men. Menu is premium quality and music matches the caliber of the food.
