Dined in once for lunch and found the experience ok, food was good, service a little slow. Unfortunately, tonight we were left really disappointed following an extended wait on a simple order for takeaway. Got home to discover prawn, pork and papaya rice paper rolls were in fact lettuce, noodle and dry pork rolls with one dipping sauce between four rolls. Two of the four had one small prawn and not sure where the papaya was on any of them?! A little unsure where the $16 went…. perhaps on the copious amounts of lettuce and vermicelli noodles!
The food was a 10/10. Especially their caramelised pork belly. The service was pretty good, the staff were nice but slightly clueless. I throughly enjoyed it though. The pork was outstanding, the salads and prawns we ordered were delicious as well
So many salad bars in Manly specialising in light, fresh, Asian types of salads and dumplings. Came to Little Viet with pretty big expectations after checking out their website but was not overly impressed in reality! Rice paper rolls with mushrooms and tofu were pretty good but lacking in something, maybe mint. A bowl of Little Viet consisting of rice noodles, chicken and vegetables needed more flavour and fresh herbs as it was somewhat bland. Could have added peanuts, lime, coriander if you know what I mean. Felt the same way about tofu satay bowl with rice noodles. Work on the flavours! Great location and friendly staff!
Good location.Friendly staffs. But the Vietnamese food is just OK.The taste is quite different.Just only one Vietnamese restaurant in Manly
Great quality, fresh and light flavours, great service. Have been here twice now – chicken pho the first time and lemongrass beef Buddha bowl the second. Serving sizes are generous with fantastic value for money. Definitely worth a trip to Manly!
Absolutely amazing food for the money. Rice paper rolls, tofu temple salad, chilli and salt soft shell crab and the duck san choy bow made a spectacular lunch. I have been to quite a few viet street food style restaurants and this hit the mark. Almost didn’t come here because it wasn’t rated. Glad I took a chance.
