What should have been a mildly pleasant experience turned into an expensive disaster. Two meals sent back included undercooked chicken salmonela burger and unveined prawns. Not sure who eats prawns with their guts still full of grit but obviously these guys do. However, spicy chicken wings were good. Staff friendly, manager a turkey. Avoid like the plague
For the entree we ordered buffalo wings. The wings were definitely not buffalo they were basted in their BBQ sauce. The meat was also dry. For mains we ordered two portions of the ribs and steak, having upgraded our steak to a premium scotch fillet and a portion of clam chowder. The chowder arrived first, with a hard layer at the top, indicating to us that it had been sitting for some time. Our steak and ribs arrived shortly after and were cold. The steaks were ordered medium-rare and were served medium. We were told by the rude waiter that was definitely medium-rare even though the inside of the meat was without any colour. The steaks were very tough. Our sides also arrived cold. Upon raising this with the staff we were told to wait for fresh meals. Unfortunately due to time constraints we were unable to do this, however received another chowder which contained prawns youd pull out of a freezer bag and the chowder was over-seasoned. Both our rib and steak portions were sent back with a quarter being eaten. The chowder was basically untouched. The bill arrived at full price. After speaking to yet another rude staff member claiming to be a manager who threatened to call the police. We tried explaining that we did not feel it was fair that we pay full freight for meals that we raised concerns about from the moment we received them, and basically untouched.In summary, dont eat here. Ive eaten better meals for half the price and received a much better customer service experience. Extremely disappointed.
Busy place. Pumping but we managed to get a table for lunch on the weekend. Wagu burger was big and fresh and came with onion rings in the burger, side chips and a pickle. Hubbie really enjoyed this but could tell the patty wasn’t home made. He said that would have topped it. Portuguese chicken burger was a little spicy but still delicious and simple. Pork burger was tasty but the problem was the way it was presented. The bottom of the burger was soaked and soggy. They didn’t put a barrier between the coleslaw and the Bun so it was wet. Would suggest maybe a lettuce leaf or something. Our side of onion rings were yum and sweet and matched well with the aoli. Overall an average lunch that did the job on our tourist in our hometown day.
Come here if you want to dive into mouth watering lamb ribs and cocktails! The sides were also all cleaned up. Only negative is that people kept bumping into your seat while you were eating.
Had a delicious meal here with my family. Having 3 kids its always hard to please everyone but all 3 enjoyed the kids menu. Kids meals all come out with fries and the servings are decent. Hubby ordered the classic burger and chips and I had the Caesar salad with prawns. We also shared the fried squid. All was delicious! The staff were super friendly and professional and of course the view is beautiful. Will definitely go back!
Mneh. You will probably find better. Food is ok. Service is ok. This place seems to get by on tourists and seniors specials as there is nothing spectacular about this restaurant at all.
Left it late to go to dinner so there wasn’t much left open in manly so we came here. Staff were friendly enough but the food is very expensive for what it is. $26 for a pulled pork burger. It was nice but not worth that much. My husbands steak was also cold when it arrived. Appreciate them accepting us when it was late but we won’t return
