Huge portions, don’t let the nice hostess up sell you garlic bread, you won’t need it!!Service is friendly, but a little slow. If you want a wholesome Italian meal, this is it!
I dined here on a Monday night with 4 other friends. I was recommended the Vienna schnitzel and I was not disappointed. Huge serving with potato, carrot and zucchini. Friendly and attentive service. If only they sold Italian wine by the glass and not just by bottle. Love this place.
Lasagne was so unidentifiable it was funny. They obviously pride themselves on portion sizes rather than food quality. We ordered the lasagne and what arrived can only be described as a large plate of slop. When the plate was put down I actually laughed out loud it looked so ridiculous! Taste wasnt much better – I’ve had better school dinners. I wonder if there were better dishes on the menu but if the spelling is anything to go by, I doubt it!!
Disappointed. Menu completely uninspired and boring. Not what real italian food is like. Didn’t overly like the atmosphere of the restaurant either. Would not go back
Best Italian on the Northern Beaches!. Such great tasting food! The garlic bread was to die for! Who ever rates garlic bread? No one ever mentions it because its just bread, butter and garlic but this is some magic garlic bread. Once you’ve had it nothing wil ever taste the same. The servings are huge so you dont have to get a main unless you’re the hulk. Then if you can squeeze it in theres dessert. OMG the Tiramisu. Its heaven on a plate. Manly Italian what an experience!
Best service I’ve had in years! I came here on holiday with 2 friends. Rosemary sat us down, joked with us and made us feel at home straight away. The meals were amazing also but the staff went above and beyond. Best experience I’ve had in a long time, couldn’t recommend more.
An Old Favourite. Manly Italian is an institution in Manly. It serves hearty, tasty food. Nothing fancy or trendy, which is what I crave for in Italian food. It’s a family-run restaurant and the friendly service is second to none. Great for big groups.
