Definitely a favourite with the locals! I came here with a small group of friends which meant we all got to try and share each others dishes. The stand out for me was their Penang Duck curry – spicy yet sweet roasted duck curry with green beans, snow peas, kaffir lime leaves, lychee, pineapple, bamboo shoot, sweet basil and coconut cream. All in all, the menu choices, service, value for money and locale add up to make this a great place – you really can’t go wrong, plus its byo!! neateatsydney.wordpress.com
In a not so busy location this thai restaurant sits quite a few people. I found the service to be average, it could be improved by staff being more attentive. The food is very standard compared to other Thai restaurants, but I found the portion size to be quite small. It was a spontaneous visit, but I probably wouldn’t dine here again.
Got here just a little after 1 and find the place not as crowded as everyone has said. Nice interior design and standard service. Ordered vegetable and tofu green curry with rice, my other colleagues got pork belly stir fry, tamarind chicken and chilli jam stir fry. The food came quite quickly. My green curry is very flavourful, there’s eggplants and other vegetables, a little stingy on the tofu. The rice is drowned in sauce, which is not ideal. The meat dishes looks delicious and are very aromatic. Price is cheap and we were satisfied. Only 5 vego options I think but some other dishes they offer seafood if you don’t like meat.
A good local Thai eatery serving delicious lunch meals. The crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli is very flavoursome and cooked perfectly. The service is minimal. weekendnotes.com
One of the best thai restaurants i have visited! The restaurant itself is really nice to eat in, a bit crowded at times but good interior and atmosphere. We ordered the soft shell crab, the yellow curry and the beef pad thai and all three dishes were very decent. Highly recommend this restaurant – prices are good especially seeing the high quality of food you received. Also ordered a white wine sangria which also beat expectations.Be sure to book as it does get quite busy during peak hours (fri/sat nights), we went on a Wednesday night and easily got a table though.
This place is really good! Good value for money. At lunch they have 10 dollars lunches that are abundant and delicious. This is the place to go for a quick and yummy lunch. Quite close to the real thai food and the service is really kind.
Great Thai spot in Manly. Tons of options on the menu so you are bound to get something you like. Everything I’ve tried is delicious. Downside: there’s not a ton of seating and the service can be hit or miss but highly recommend it when you’re in the mood for a leisurely dinner out with less than 4 people.
