Just wanted to say i was very disappointed when i went to ruby lane today.. the food was okay nothing special but the big peoblem was how small the meal was for the price! Its cost $14 for one slice of bread with avocado.. you would think at that price you would get two slices of bread. My partner got bacon and eggs for over $20 and he got one slice of bacon and the smallest pieces of bread ive ever seen. Anyway it was okay but for the price you need to make your meals alot bigger just because u decorate the plate with flowers doesnt make it more expensive. I could go to the shops and get a load of bread and 3 avocados for that price i paid for one slice of bread.. we were both also very hungry after one slice of bread but i didnt want to pay another $20 for avo on toast

The staff were very kind. I liked how they had a little grocery store within the cafe filled with healthy snacks, skincare, candles. Almost like a mini organic store. Their paleo bread was very very good. But their bone broth was a little watery and the dandy chai wasnt particularly strong (at least thats how I prefer mine). Overall a really pleasant breakfast and very open layout which is also nice

This is my kind of local! Drop in for a good coffee and buy a loaf of their 3day fermented bread. Have breakfast, grab some lunch and best of all RL is open for dinner (BYO) on Fri and Sat nights. With a chilled, laid back vibe in Summer, to a cosy relaxed winter feel this place offers delicious sustainable food that is appealing to all tastes and requirements.North Manly is blessed!

Sunday morning peak hour- we got lucky and got a table pretty much straight away. My palate craved sweets so I ordered the Teff pancakes served with maple syrup and coconut yogurt . Generous sized pancakes, a little on the dry side however. More banana and fruit topping would have been better!!! Plus anything with maple syrup is good 🙂 . The poached eggs on hash were perfectly cooked, however the sweet potato hash was a little burnt and bitter… Coffees were good , could have been a few degrees hotter, but overall great service and wholesome satisfying food.

If you’re into health food then you may like this place. Whilst I dont mind healthy meals I find that theirs are lacking in flavour. Underwhelming at best. The service is good without being fantastic. I like the vibe these guys throw out, with a few more flavours in their dishes I would go back.

Superb fresh, tasty, and healthy caf food, from organic and local producers. A few extreme options on the menu that are more healthy than tasty but even those who like plain food will find something tasty to eat.

Awesome healthy cafe with a focus on sustainability and wholesome goodness! Interiors are relaxed and the booth seating is a modern take on an old fashioned milk bar! From the breakfast menu we chose Ruby’s Acai Protein Bowl and the Harvest Eggs. Both tasty and delicious. Coffee is great and the iced coffee with coconut ice-cream is heavenly! Why not pick up a few essential pantry items for healthy food preparation at home. Grabbed some pre-prepared wraps (chicken and black lentil & falafel) on the way out to avoid cooking on this 38 degree day! Staff are lovely and so chilled where nothing seems like hard work. Think we have found our new favourite cafe in Manly! Second visit: Love it…menu has been updated and is even better! Tried the outstanding Mad Morris beef burger, and the winter warming slow cooked dahl! Amazing!
