3.5/5Came here with work mates to give this new place a go.With a fantastic location just right at the beach, the decor is stylish and a little vintage.The drinks menu looked fascinating, with craft beer and a whole bunch of cocktails and whiskys.We got burgers and craft beers.The beef short rib burger i got looked good, however the bone was still in the rib, and it required me to open the burger to cut out the bone, when i bite into it, the tendon was quite hard to chew and i ended up having the burger and the short rib separately.The south of the border burger has a good jalapeno popper, the beef patty is medium rare which looked amazing.The frickles are crunchy and juicy, perfect for those who likes pickles.Shoe string fries as an add on side is quite small.Not sure if i’ll come for a meal, but maybe drinks and small bites.
Great new American booze bar with really good food too! Prime locale and will be amazing in summer. We had a few burgers and sides, and couldnt really fault them. A maple old fashioned cocktail helped them go down very well and they have an impressive bar set up. Will be back for sure!
Welcome one of Manly newest players on the South Steyn. The Blind Barrel is an American gastro bar serving up American inspired bites and booze. Great variety of food and beverages to suit all cravings with the atmosphere only adding to the wonderful evening. Thanks guys
