This restaurant is amazing, they have the best food, terrific service, and are one of our regular restaurants that we hit when we want some great food and a really good overall experience. We’ve been to the Dee Why location a few times, but the service there isn’t as good, even though the view from Dee Why is great. We always get the xiao long bao, and usually one of the delicious noodle dishes. And a fortune cookie on the way out for dessert 😉
A great little noodle and dumpling bar in beautiful Manly. My partner and I often take the ferry over when we are in Sydney and have exhausted trying all the more popular and known spots. This was a delicious discovery. The translucent prawn dumplings casings were possibly the best I’ve tried and the filling was generous yet perfectly light. Casual and tasty
We came to this place because it had great little Bento boxes for the kids. They were a big hit and went down a treat. The adults had a variety of dishes from the yum cha menu. They were ok but the hit was the last dish we ordered to fill the gap left by the yum cha. It was Vietnamese grilled beef and was delicious. The service was lovely and super efficient. Perhaps the restaurant could have been a bit cleaner, but I’ve come to expect a bit of grunge in this area!
Good value, friendly staff. The food wasn’t bad, the chicken dumpings were a little thick and I wasn’t a big fan of teriyaki chicken skewers but the rest of what was got was good. The mini pork and chive fried dumplings were my pick of the place. Mixture of byo and they sell wine at a good price. I would recommend this place for a quick bite to eat with friends. Enjoyable experience.
