A Vegetarian cafe with lots of vegan options is just what any beach side suburb needs!! Employing organically farmed produce where they can, Herb n Sprout Cafe is all about serving deliciously healthy guilt free meals. Full flavoured, colourful and packed with nutrients. Highly recommend Herb n Sprout, a new option for vegans who are looking for a beach side brunch!We sampled quite a few amazing dishes.Gluten Free Berrylicious PancakesCompletely vegan! Spiced cherry compote, caramelised banana, toasted almonds, house-made vanilla cashew cream and pistachio pashmak.Eggs BennyPoached eggs with thyme infused mushrooms, lemon avo and bruschetta, Topped with hollandaise on activated charcoal sourdough.Coconut French ToastWith seasonal fruits, textures of coconut, pistachios and house-made vanilla cashew cream, drizzled in maple syrup. Merediths Avo SmashLemon smashed Avo served on toasted seeded sourdough, with Merediths goats cheese, organic greens and chilli oil. Very impressed over all. The service was very personal and genuine, presentation, and flavours all on point as you can see!! This summer if you want brunch spot that will look after the beach bod head down here!! Will be back again and again!
Herb n Sprout is a little healthy shop in the middle of Maroubra beach & Maroubra Junction. Came here because had great reviews of the place, plus all the photos looked so appetising. Menu has a variety of fresh and healthy items to choose from, ranging from breakfast burritos, to aai bowls, to a simple eggs on toast. Food did take a while but it was a busy morning (thankfully got in early enough to get seated straight away). Service was friendly and prices are what youd expect at a buzzing cafe in Sydney. Food was great and would definitely try this place again.Food recommendation: coconut french toast
