I was pleasantly surprised with the Lord Beefington burger. Not only was it tasty, there was actually more beef than bun. I love the fact that it wasn’t a messy burger either. I suggest anyone who is a burger official to give this place a try. I don’t think anyone will leave here disappointed! Where’s the beef? It’s all in the LORD Beefington! It was off the hook!

Delicious! Great vegetarian options and fresh ingredients. Close to the water! Friendly staff and efficient. The falafels are well-made. Good size and crispy. The sweet potato chips are crunchy and served in generous portions. Great value! Hope to be back again soon!

Incredibly delicious! Chicken wings are to die for, and I never dreamed that cauliflower could taste as amazing as it does in those fritters. The burgers are fab, the staff are lovely – an all round great place!

Ordered a double lord beefinton, was not disappointed. The loaded fries were extreme, this place’s gravy is something special. Nice beer on tap for a reasonable price. Bloke serving me was also nice and funny. Thanks feedbag

Opened just 2 months ago, the Feedbag burger offers some really yummy classic burgers, something you struggle to find nowadays with kimchi burgers and the like.If you are after a simple burger, no frills, lovingly cooked by the owner, just like how it was back in the day, juicy beef patty, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, onions, bit of sauce and to top it off, soft pillowy burger buns from brasserie bread, then this is your place to be! My personal favourite is the bra burger but there were nods of approval for the greasy joe. The side of sweet potato fries totally hit the spot as well, fresh and crunchy. I had a coffee here, made by the owner and it was not half bad! The set up could improve though. A little bit of a tidy up might not hurt it but I think this place has potential! Definitely coming back for a feed!

Recently moved to the area and discovered this little gem. Beefington is the best burger in Sydney by far. Makes Mary’s in Newtown look like amateurs.

The Feedbag Burger Restaurant is a relatively new place out by Maroubra Beach. I only discovered this place through Ompty when I was poking around during lunch, so I figured to give it a go. A lot of the better burger shops in Sydney have been popping up by South Sydney so it was a chance for me to see what this one is all about. I went for the Double Lord Beefington as I read it’s their most popular burger.Double grass fed Angus patties, cheese, onion, pickle, tomato relish, mustard, smokey mayoIf you like classic cheeseburgers, then you will love this burger. It’s actually pretty similar to a Quarter Pounder with cheese from McDonald’s but tastier and much higher quality. The beef was juicy, seasoned well and cooked just right. The patties are pretty big and I think I read it’s O’Connor beef somewhere (same as Mary’s) but I’m not absolutely positive so don’t quote me on that. The milk bun was pretty good, fluffy and toasted and held it all together. The toppings were good as well, especially the tomato relish. I would have preferred a little more cheese and thinner and less sweet pickle, but that’s nitpicking an otherwise classic burger. All in all a great little burger joint by Maroubra and one of the better ones in Sydney.Beef: 4.5Bun: 4.3Toppings: 4.3Overall: 4.37/5 theburgerhand.com
