Tradewinds restaurant has been around for years and has recently had an upgrade. A large space with a modern fit out.Tradewinds serves up reasonably priced meals and good portions. I ordered the fish burger, a fried patty with panco crumbs and salad. The burger was sufficient to fulfill my hunger without being anything too special. The coffee on par with the burger. I have heard good things about the ribs and will return to try. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
I ordered an iced latte and the lady barista literally heated the milk before putting in the ice. That makes no sense?? Note the foam in the photo.
I often buy coffee from this restaurant, but today they DISAPPOINTED ME with VERY RUDE customer service. I walked into the restaurant and there were two guys behind me, so I thought they were coming in so I left the door open. The GUY barista (who’s normally there) asked me to close the door even though I told him I wanted an ice coffee. He brought coffee out to serve the tables, kept telling me to shut the door and disregarded whatever I said. He then came back and I said again I wanted an ice coffee. I don’t know if he was deaf or something, he had to REPEAT WHAT I SAID TWO TIMES. I’ve repeated my order in total about 3-4 times HE WASN’T LISTENING. I ended up not getting anything from them, and I will be doing so in the future.
I come here for the breakfast – Mediterranean stack is the best!! Lovely restaurant with nice staff and food. Room for business meetings, families, prams etc
Absolutely fantastic! Had the steak medium rare and house beer battered fries, steak was cooked perfectly and the chips scrumptious. Would definitely recommend!
Friday morning late breakfast; I ordered cappuccino, fresh juice, Asian omelette with side chicken sausage, harsh browns and my hubby ordered Prosciutto omelette. I think the coffee beans they use were good (nice rounded flavour, not acidic) but the coffee was made pretty weak and milky. My Asian omelette was bit of disaster. It is kind of egg crepes omelette with fresh bean sprout salad fillings inside. I requested to add little chill to make it spicy instead it came out sweet. I had few bites and I just gave up eating as it was simply too sweet. I did enjoy my side harsh browns and chicken sausages tho.My hubby enjoyed his Prosciutto omelette however he mentioned if they mixed Prosciutto with the omelettes would have improved the taste. We went there for breakfast today and we were pleasantly surprised. It seems it’s been recently renovated and had a really nice feel to it. We ordered the big breaky and Mediterranean stack and both were delicious. Coffee was great and fresh juice was fresh but it seemed a little watered down perhaps? Would definitely go there again. Breaky finishes at 11.30am so be sure to get in early!
