Generous serving of seafood in their Laksa with the spiciness i like. Theres a pretty tempting selection of Chinese dishes here also on their menu wall, but ive come here twice now with a Laksa craving as its the $15 well spent in comparison to surrounding establishments…. thenextrushmagazine.com

Good food and good value food. Busy team of chefs cooking it up in this little, unpretentious shopfront. Lemon chicken, salt and pepper squid, honey prawns, king prawn omelette – all good. My one criticism is that the massive, old-style, spring rolls they serve are too oily – probably the result of them needing to be deep fried for longer. Everyone needs a good local Chinese takeaway – this one is now mine.

Basic food court style Chinese takeaway meals – the sort you’d seek after a big night out. Food is oily, lacks flavour but at 6.50 it is exactly what you would expect.

Disgusting rubbish. Wow this used to be our favourite and that of many of our friends and neighbours. Unfortunately it has changed hands and so has the recipes. Now it’s disgusting filth.

It’s over. After hearing from many locals that everyone’s favourite ‘Hole in the Wall’ had changed hands and had subsequently gone down the clacker, we waited a while, steeling ourselves… When we did return today, we were prepared for disappointment. We knew it wouldn’t be the same, but we did have a sliver of hope that we could adjust. The best thing I can say is the new owners lived up to the buzz on the streets – that is, Addison Road Chinese is no more. I write this staring at 3 half full containers of sadness no one in our house had the heart to finish. We won’t be back.

Not coming back :-(. The owners should have maintained the same recipes!! The good was cluggy. Perhaps the new owners should contact the old owners and get the recipes. People will just stop visiting. I won’t be back….

Truly a sad day :(. It’s previously been said but Addison Chinese is under new management, like others I have tried to give them a chance but alas the food is no where as good as the previous owners. I loved this place. I’ll miss the guy yelling at me over the phone because they were so busy he couldn’t hear me. I’ll miss my short soups, I’ll miss my Mongo lamb with rice. I’ll miss watching the cooks struggling to keep up with the demand. I’ll miss trying to find a parking spot right out front (always difficult) That was the best Chinese in the inner west as far as I am concerned……I’ll miss it.
